minimal styling again. the less effort you make the better. The more simple the lines and uncluttered the outfit. This trend popped up in A/W with brands like Stella MC, Chloe all producing easy to wear and simple collections. It seems the recession has changed our shopping habits so much that designers really are changing their designs to reflect this. 
Fancy pants - Again. Those trousers with gathered fabric on the hips. Yawn! This was around last summer and didn't suit anyone without an eating disorder. I tried and failed to work the trend. But it really is horrible. Still the collection was also awash with vibrant blues.
Round sunglasses. I love these. So much so, as I have a pair I bought last summer but never wore....oh how wonderful! All the models wore the amazing pink shade above. Continuing on from winter's love of the mad men style red lip. This is the summer version! Try rimmel and MAC for some great versions.
Printed suits. Why would anyone try this at home? Still in a street sense I am sure you would not buy and wear these two together! Surely not! Notice that cropped ankle length cigarette style trousers are featured heavily throughout this collection....
Vibrant and bold colors, short skirts present a problem for winter fresh legs! So many prints to choose from. All the colors seem slightly on edge with each other. Nothing seems to blend well. In a good way. All the prints seem to have a world traveller appeal to them. Like you woke up in Spain when you went to sleep in Paris and your bags are on a van going to Mexico. Yeah, that sort of holiday.....all in all, not sure if the collection is really 'me' but still, always worth a look at the first shows of the next season right?
